Be ready for the dance floor at the Art Deco Preservation Ball ~ A Night in Buenos Aires, the City of Tango ~ with a series of tango classes and dance practice on Wednesday evenings at the beautiful Berkeley City Club.

Everyone is welcome! No partner or experience necessary. All genders are encouraged to lead and follow. Leather-soled shoes are preferred.

Beginner classes are from 7 - 8 pm, followed by tango practica from 8 - 10, all for $15 per session.

This is a member event of the Berkeley City Club, open to the public; members of the BCC receive a discount. Please note, there is no non-member parking in the BCC lot, but there are other lots nearby, as well as street parking and transit options. When you arrive at the club, please ring the bell and say “Tango.”

Julia’s Restaurant at the Berkeley City Club accepts dinner reservations from 5 to 8:30 pm. Morgan’s Bar is open from 4 - 9 pm.
