The San Francisco Maritime Museum and Association has invited members and friends of the Art Deco Society of California to their special event!

Join us to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the commissioning of the World War II submarine, museum, and memorial, USS Pampanito on November 2, 2023. This event will feature guest speakers, sumptuous cuisine from Original Joe's, dancing and entertainment by the enchanting Decobelles, live syncopated jazz music by the renowned musicians of Don Neely's Rhythm Aces, 1940s-era dance and costume competitions (with prizes!), dance lessons, and more... It will be a night to remember on San Francisco's glittering historic waterfront. 

The USS Pampanito played a crucial role in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Please join us in celebrating and honoring the submariners who served on deck and the rich maritime heritage of our nation at a premier US designated National Historic Landmark.
